Titel onderzoek: Nightlife in Occupied Amsterdam in Comparative Perspective.
This research explores the dynamics of nightlife and entertainment during the German occupation of Amsterdam, comparing it to similar developments in Berlin, Antwerp and Rome. By comparing multiple urban contexts, the research aims to identify both common patterns and local variations in how occupation regimes engaged with public leisure. It also explores the role of nightlife in shaping urban identity and social cohesion in times of crises.
