Visit our library
Our Library is open to the public from June 15th 2020.
KNIR follows Italian laws and international recommendations to keep you safe.
If you wish to access the KNIR library collection, just follow these three simple steps:
1. Make an appointment
Send your request for an appointment via the button at the bottom of the page. The library staff will answer your request in one working day by email or phone.
2. Come to KNIR
Come with a disposable latex mask and gloves to wear before entering. Important: don’t forget your letter of presentation and document, please! The KNIR staff will welcome you, inviting you to sanitize your hands with the hydro-alcoholic solutions available, accompany you to the library and assign you a place. Follow the directional signs to move inside the KNIR.
3. Leaving KNIR
Put the material used in the plastic bag provided by the KNIR and follow the library staff to the exit. Please, note that for safety reasons, the following services or materials are temporarily unavailable:
• access to special collections;
• use of air conditioning;
• coffee and water distributors (you can bring your own bottle).
We apologize for the inconvenience.
Instead of photocopies or scans, we suggest that you use Tiny Scan, for reproducing pages you need.
We remind you that you are personally responsible for following copyright rules.
WE ASK YOU TO:
• sanitize your hands regularly during your stay at KNIR and before using library material;
• cover your mouth and nose with your elbow, before sneezing or coughing;
• not to touch your eyes, nose and mouth.
