Dutch Academic Institutes Abroad (NWIB)
The KNIR is oldest and largest of the NWIB. The other institutes are located in Florence, Athens, Cairo, and St Petersburg. The institutes abroad are governed by the same inter-university board that bears responsibility for the KNIR. Together, they make an important contribution to the presentation of Dutch universities abroad, and to that end continually seek ways to forge closer cooperation.
